 History
Electechs Ltd is an electrical engineering company
specialising in Industrial Control & Automation systems.
Manging Director Simon Smith established the company in
October 2002 after realising a shortage in turnkey electrical
solution providers in South Wales.
Simon's background with British Steel, Sony and Ford Motor
Company together with five years working in industrial
contracting gave him the knowledge and contacts to achieve
a long held ambition to run his own company.
The first year's rapid growth in turnover was primarily
achieved at just three factories with Sony Manufacturing,
Bridgend contributing to most of it. The business quickly
capitalised on the growing demand for their high level
of expertise and skills and with a medium to long term
business strategy, customers now include giants like Airbus
UK, Alberto Culver, GKN Aerospace, GE Healthcare, Harman
Becker, Honeywell Control Systems, Tata Steel and Volac.
The company believes their success is down to the quality
and service provided as part of their commitment to client
satisfaction and this has resulted in the accolade of
being solutions partners to Siemens Automation & Drives.
